HCC Temporary Closure of The Gardens, Brookmans Park
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of The Gardens, Brookmans Park from its junction with Bluebridge Road westwards and north westwards to its junction with Westland Drive, a distance of approximately 247 metres.
An alternative route will be via Bluebridge Road, Oaklands Avenue and Westland Drive.
The section of road will be closed between the hours of 9.00am and 10.00pm on Sunday 5 June 2022, when signs are in place.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure public safety and prevent accidents for the duration of the ‘Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Street Party’.
A copy of the proposed Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).
