HCC Temporary Closing of Swanley Crescent, Little Heath

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Swanley Crescent, Little Heath from a point in line with the northern boundary of No.39 Swanley Crescent south eastwards for a distance of approximately 23 metres (“the Road”), except for access.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 23 May 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

A copy of the proposed Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).

HCC Temporary Closing of Holloways Lane, Welham Green

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Holloways Lane, Hatfield from its junction with Bulls Lane north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Booths Close, a distance of approximately 256 metres, except for access.

An alternative route will be via Bulls Lane, Station Road, Dixons Hill Road and Holloways Lane.

The section of road will be closed between the hours of 12.00midday and 11.59pm on Saturday 4 June 2022, when signs are in place.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure public safety and prevent accidents for the duration of the ‘Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Street Party’.

A copy of the proposed Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).

Notification of Works – North Mymms Footpath 009

Hertfordshire County Council have advised there will be surface improvement works happening along North Mymms Footpath 009, see map below. The works are due to start in the next month, and should take 3 weeks, weather depending. The path will be closed for the duration of the works and there will be notices put up a week before starting to make local users aware.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Frampton Road, Little Heath from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.1A Frampton Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 177 metres.

An alternative route will be via Frampton Road, A1000 Great North Road, Thornton Road, Coopers Road and Frampton Road.

The section of road will be closed between the hours of 8.30am on Saturday 4 June 2022 and 8.00am on Sunday 5 June 2022, when signs are in place.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure public safety and prevent accidents for the duration of the ‘Platinum Jubilee Street Party’.
