Works will be carried out under Road Closure with Gateman.  Access to residents and Potterells Surgery will still be accessible throughout works.

From junction with Bradmore Lane to St Thomas More Roman Catholic Church.

Between 28 March and 12 April 2024.

Between 0930 hrs and 1600 hours.

Temporary Closure of Booths Close, Welham Green

Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Booths Close, Hatfield from its junction with Holloways Lane north eastwards for its entire length (“the Road”), except for access.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

Temporary Closure of Foxes Lane, Welham Green

Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Foxes Lane, Hatfield from a point 157m north west of its junction with Bulls Lane north westwards for a distance of approximately 30m (“the Road”), except for access.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

 

Temporary Closure of Huggins Lane and Parsonage Lane, Welham Green

Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

  1. that length of Parsonage Lane, Hatfield from its junction with Dellsome Lane north westwards to its junction with Parsonage Road, a distance of approximately 163m.

An alternative route will be via Huggins Lane, Pooleys Lane and Parsonage Lane.

  1. that length of Huggins Lane, Hatfield from its junction with Dellsome Lane north eastwards to its junction with Pooleys Lane, a distance of approximately 412m.

An alternative route will be via Parsonage Lane and Pooleys Lane.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

Temporary Closure of Hawkshead Lane

Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Hawkshead Lane, North Mymms from a point 235m north east of it junction with Warrengate Road eastwards for a distance of approximately 30m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via Hawkshead Lane, Warrengate Road, Swanland Road, Dixons Hill Road, A1000 Great North Road, Hawkshead Road and Hawkshead Lane.

The Order is needed because electrical service connection works are proposed to be executed near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 25 March 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

  1. that length of Hawkshead Road, Little Heath/Hawkshead Lane, North Mymms from its junction with North Mymms Public Footpath No.013 north westwards for a distance of approximately 704m.

An alternative route will be via Hawkshead Road, A1000 Great North Road, Dixons Hill Road, Swanland Road and Hawkshead Lane.

  1. that length of Bluebridge Road, Brookmans Park from its junction with Hawkshead Lane north westwards for a distance of approximately 445m.

An alternative route will be via Hawkshead Lane, Swanland Road, Dixons Hill Road, Station Road, Bradmore Green and Bluebridge Road or via Hawkshead Road, A1000 Great North Road, Dixons Hill Road, Station Road, Bradmore Green and Bluebridge Road.
